Staffspan is an enterprise human resources (HR) management platform that supports the employee lifecycle from hire to payslip. It is built for organizations operating in Jordan and GCC markets (primarily Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE), with jurisdiction-aware leave entitlements and payroll contribution rules.

Staffspan combines a full HR web portal, a mobile-friendly Employee Self-Service (ESS) experience, and a public careers site. A single deployment can host multiple companies (multi-tenant), each with its own employees, departments, and data.

Employee management - employee records, departments, org chart, field-level privacy, and personnel archive (contacts, identities, notes, documents)
Time & attendance - daily check-in/out, attendance exceptions, leave requests with balances and manager/HR approvals
Payroll & compensation - compensation records, payroll runs (draft -> calculate -> approve -> export), payslips with PDF download, and jurisdiction rules (e.g. Jordan SSC, Saudi GOSI, UAE end-of-service accrual)
Talent - job postings, applicant pipeline, public careers applications, performance cycles, goals, and optional peer reviews
HCM operations - benefits, expenses, training, workforce planning, shift scheduling, timesheets, overtime, and onboarding checklists
Compliance & security - consent tracking, breach notification workflow, audit logs, role-based access, encryption of sensitive fields, and retention controls
Analytics & reports - KPI dashboards and exportable tabular reports (CSV, Excel, PDF)
Localization - English and Arabic (RTL), light and dark themes, responsive web access including ESS on mobile browsers

Note: Staffspan is an HR/HCM product. It does not include general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, balance sheet, or other core accounting modules. Payroll and expense features support people operations and pay processing; they are not a full financial accounting suite.
